Singapore. Ocean Specialists, Inc. (OSI) and Pierre Tremblay of Aletheia Subsea Consulting Pte Ltd are pleased to announce the creation of the OSI Asia Pacific regional headquarters to be located in Singapore.
From this new regional base, OSI will provide local service delivery and closer customer interface, and will project the full capabilities and critical mass of its US headquarters including market analysis, engineering and project management, permitting, route design and GIS services. OSI plans to grow its Asia Pacific presence substantially in the coming years and looks forward to the continued growth of its customer relationships throughout the region.
OSI has been active in the region for several years, providing submarine cable project development services to system owners in both the commercial submarine telecommunications and offshore oil and gas communications markets. The establishment of a permanent regional headquarters signals OSI’s commitment to its important and growing customer base in the Asia Pacific.
OSI Asia Pacific will be headed by Pierre Tremblay, who will serve as Managing Director. Pierre brings 18 years of experience in the telecommunications industry having held senior roles in engineering, project management, sales and marketing of international cable networks both submarine and terrestrial. Since 2006 Pierre has been consulting to the telecommunications industry using his unique blend of technical, operational and commercial experience to advise Operators on a wide range of issues.
